Our Staff
Cartersville OB/GYN Associates prides itself on relationships with our patients and our staff. Most of our staff has been with our practice for many years providing our patients with care with a personal touch. You may learn more about our staff by reading their bios below.
Janet Rosser, Office Manager Janet is our office manager. She has been employed by Cartersville OB/Gyn since 1987. She is married and has one daughter and enjoys reading and spending most of her free time at fastpitch softball games and practices. Amy Olsen, MA Amy has been Dr. Ribot's nurse since 1991. She is married and has 2 daughters. In her free time, she enjoys camping and whitewater rafting. Belinda Darnell, Insurance / Surgical Coordinator Belinda is our insurance/surgical coordinator and has worked here since 1992. She is married and has a daughter and a son. Belinda enjoys playing tennis and riding Harleys. Hope Conyers, RN Hope is our telephone nurse. She has been employed here since 1996. She is a lifetime resident of Cartersville and is the mom of 3 cats and a dog. She enjoys spending time with her friends, and life in general! Shelley Caldwell, CFT-CFA Shelley is our Surgical First Assistant. She has been with Cartersville OB/Gyn since 1999. She is married with a daughter and a son, both in college. She enjoys sewing, reading and traveling. Susan Ponder, Insurance Coordinator Susan is our insurance coordinator and has been at Cartersville OB/Gyn since 2002. She has 2 daughters and enjoys reading and spending time with her friends. Karen Carter, RDMS Karen has been our ultrasound sonographer since 2002. She is married and enjoys shopping and spending time with her 2 young daughters. Cecilia Maldonado, Receptionist / Translator Cecilia is one of our receptionists. She also translates for our Hispanic Patients. Cecilia has worked at Cartersville OB/Gyn since 2002 and she enjoys cooking and entertaining. Felisa Gentry, Front Office Felisa is our front office supervisor. She has been at Cartersville OB/Gyn since 2003. She has 2 sons and enjoys sports and spending time with her family. Amy Smith, MA Amy is one of the nurses for our midwives and nurse practitioner. She has been employed with Cartersville OB/Gyn since 2004. She is married and has a son and a daughter. She likes to shop in her free time. Mary Marshall, Receptionist Mary is one of our receptionists. She is married with a son and a daughter. She has worked here since 2006. Mary spends her free time selling Avon and watching her children play ball. Crystal Lee, Receptionist Crystal is one of our receptionists and has been employed since 2007. She is married and loves spending time spoiling her niece and nephews. Lisa Boliver, MA Lisa is Dr. Barfield's nurse and has been with Cartersville OB/Gyn since 2008. She is married with 3 grown children. She spends her free time Civil War Reenacting and riding a Harley with her husband. Leann Hughes, MA Leann is one of the nurses for our midwives and nurse practitioner. She is married with 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. She enjoys shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
